John Pattison Last Will And Testament

This is the last Will and testimony of John Pattison of the town of Helton Kent County and the state of Delaware made and executed the fourth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and eight six. First of all calling to mind the uncertainty of life that is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain and constitute this to be my last will and testament in manner and form as follows I give my soul to God who gave it me and my body to the Earth to be buried in a Christian like manner at the discretion of my Executors heretoafter to be named and touching such worldly goods as it pleased God to bless with in this life I dispose of them in the following manner after my funeral expenses and just debts are complied with Item first I give and bequeath to my well beloved daughter Elizabeth B. Pattison all my personal property. Item second I give and bequeath to my two daughters Elizabeth B. Pattison and Mary C. Cahall all my land or Real Estate it being a farm or tract of land situated lying and being in North Murderkill Hundred containing one hundred and three acres of land now in tenure of George L. Istes as tenant the said Elizabeth B. Pattison to have three fourths of said land and the said Mary C. Cahall one fourth of said land to them their heirs and assigns forever. Item the the third I give and bequeath to my two sons John Pattison and Hugh Moore Pattison to each Twenty five cents and no more. Item the fourth I do hereby appoint and consitute my two daughters to be my whole and sole executors of this my last will and testiment. Revoking and annulling all other wills and legacies and Ratifying only this and it is also made and provided that if the said farm is not sold at my death that N P Luff is requested to act as adviser to my heirs by request In witness of I have here into my hands and seal the day and date aforesaid.
