Today I found out that my film was accepted for the Independent Feature Film Market, which will be held here in NYC in September. It's no great distinction to be accepted for the IFFM, but apparently a few films do get turned down, and I was braced for the worst. This gives me some work over the next few months: I have to gather biographical information from cast and crew, write a press kit, select and make copies of still photos, get business cards, have a promotional postcard designed, perhaps have stationery designed, perhaps come up with other promotional materials. And ask everyone in the world what I should expect, because I haven't really got a clue. I'm a little anxious, but it's good to have something to look forward to.
