The second corrected print is finished, and I went in to Lab-Link today to view it, hoping for it to be perfect and the print-making to be over. No such luck--at the very least, the timing of one shot in the picnic scene got screwed up when the shot next to it was fixed. Apart from that, there were all sorts of horrible sound problems that may or may not have been due to the defects of the screening room, or to one reel being threaded through the projector incorrectly. Tony doesn't trust the sound system that I heard, and offered me another screening next week at a good screening room at Magno, Lab-Link's parent company. I'm feeling a bit frustrated--things seem to go wrong with the print-making process so easily.
