I'm in Austin for a few days on a business trip for my computer company, and I wound up speaking tonight to a film production class at U. Texas, thanks to Nancy Schiesari, a nice filmmaker/film teacher whom I met at the IFFM. I realized too late how weird HONEYMOON looks when you show only an excerpt from the middle, but I was received pretty well by the class. It always seems to me that a lot of film students really want to make non-mainstream films and appreciate any encouragement along those lines.
