The last day of the film market was anticlimatic: none of the seminars
pertained to me, and I did nothing but jump around from one screening to
another and leave early. Was the market worth it? I suppose
so--I learned a lot about the way the industry works. Still, I would
have liked to give away at least one of those fancy press kits that I worked
so hard on. Supposedly it can happen that buyers call you after the
market instead of approaching you on the spot. We'll see.
In the evening, I boarded a plane for Las Vegas and the Blue Sky film
festival.
