Unlike the cougars when they mailed in the game yesterday, I’m mailing in a ballot. It is, after all, what we are supposed to do with a write-in ballot.

Normally, I would not vote for unopposed republicans, but this election is important to me, I don’t want to give our county auditor a chance to throw out my ballot. She wouldn’t of course, but the computer that tabulates it might.

All told, I voted against two initiatives and for one. I voted for 10 Democrats, 3 Republicans, and 2 Republicans in unopposed races.

It’s frustrating when you don’t have a choice on your ballot, it’s even more frustrating when you don’t have a choice and you don’t like the guy much.
