It’s been about a month since I visited my new house. I’d driven by a couple times between now and then, without much sign of progress beyond the roof.

Which is no big deal. I couldn’t see inside after all. Today, I did. The walls are in. The closets have their cheap shelving. The cheap faucets are in. The Carrier gas furnace is in. The wiring is all in place, as is the gas lines, the cable lines, and the plumbing.

The counters and much of the cabinetry is done. The kitchen, utility room, and bathroom floors are done.

The gravel underlay for the patio is in place, and a bonus patio is framed. It’s all on schedule.

Be careful, it’s a bit of a construction site at the moment.
