Red is Faster
I’ve been driving convertables for a very long time. I started with my dad’s ‘78 MGB before I was legally allowed to drive (many miles up and down the driveway).
But for the past 8 years, what I’ve really wanted was the current Miata. It speaks to me.
I finally got one. Red, of course. I would have preferred Green, just like my previous car, and the car before that, but green just isn’t an option. So red it is.
The drive home was glorious, unseasonably warm and relaxed. I even managed to put the roof down for a couple hours, 2 days before Christmas. For now, the car sleeps, waiting for the snow to melt. Soon.
