What's there to say...I first began seriously using a computer in 1981 (and Apple II), then got an Apple II clone (a Franklin, with a 16-bit CP/M card and 64KB of RAM) in 1982 before I went to college.
Things have change somewhat since, as I type this (in January, 2002) on a 1GHz laptop with 384MB of RAM and a 30GB hard drive. All together, that's more cycles, more memory, and more storage than all the servers at Rockefeller University when I began doing Unix support there in 1987. Whew!
