Finally, my immediate family is completed with the mention of our pet Meyer's parrot, the Grinch.

His attempts at hunt and peck typing are clumsy, but he will reply to you! He is also fascinated by the X Window system program xroaches, which simulates cockaroaches scuttling across your screen and hiding under windows. It's so cute when he bonks his little beak on the monitor screen.
