I've been active in technical theater (stagecraft) for many years, working as a stagehand doing lighting and carpentry in various shows in New York, as well as shop carpentry, rigging installations, and working on Sesame Street. For a number of years, I worked at Fox Television Studios in New York (WNYW) on the 10 O'Clock News.
I'm proud to be a member of I.A.T.S.E. Local Number One, the founding local of the union that represents stagehands, motion-picture technicians, television engineers, and other ``backstage'' workers in the US and Canada.
