Professional associations and institutions selected as MecklerWeb domain hosts will participate in MecklerWeb revenues (20% of gross in cases where they are instrumental in bring corporate sponsors onto the system).
The global Internet community will be able to access MecklerWeb at no cost.
MecklerWeb will be formally announced at Mecklermedia's Internet World conference in San Jose on June 1 1994. Plans are to open the sytem to worldwide use within 90 days of this announcement.
