The Postman [Il Postino] (Michael Radford)

It falls apart in the final half-hour, and it's a bit too "heartwarming" 
for my taste, but this film gets a mild recommendation solely on the 
strength of Massimo Troisi's final performance; as the stammering, 
lovestruck title character, he exhibits a gentle charm that's nearly 
impossible to resist.  Noiret is fine as Pablo Neruda, and the scenery 
sure is purty.
