Wild Reeds (André Téchiné)

Complex, absorbing, damn-near-brilliant film about French teens coming of 
age during the final days of the war with Algeria.  I was sorely 
disappointed when it ended; I could have watched those characters for 
another two hours, with pleasure.  Naturalistic drama doesn't get much 
better than this.
