“Ŭi” (or “uxi” or “u^i”): first person self-exclusive plural.
In Esperanto groups, it’s all too common to hear “We ought to do this or that” (sometimes “ELNA” or “Our group” ought to do this or that). This always means, “Someone other than me ought to do this or that.” Thus, I invented a new pronoun to reflect this special usage.
“Ŭi” has the felicitous attribute that it is pronounced exactly the same as the English word “we.”
