We start under the GW Bridge, looking north. The 181st Street pedestrian bridge is just north of here - you would be able to see it, as well as the Greenway's U-turn that leads down to the Little Red Lighthouse, if it wasn't for that big pile of Jersey barriers.
Access to this path from the Hudson River Greenway is a bit scary - you have to scurry along the leftmost lane of the northbound Henry Hudson Parkway for about 10 feet, then clamber over the guard rail at the far right of the photo. It would be nice if those Jersey barriers could be rearranged to let people use the park path without risking our necks.
