The standard procedure when a temp applies for work:
Initial phone screen from set questions to ascertain if potentially
"placeable". If answers clearly & intelligently we schedule an
interview. After filling a complete application, and providing
references, all candidates are tested. Tests include clerical & PC
skills based on their exp. & search criteria. Then they are
interviewed; we review any current opennings that potentially match
up.

We are a very underrated and under appreciated essential Bridge in the Labor Force.

Personality: Honest,dependable,enthusiastic,flexible team player. Appearance:Neat, well groomed, dressed appropriately
Advice for prospective temps:
Do NOT judge all Temp agencies by another experience. Remember we are only able to truly make the right match if you are honest with us. Be detailed and do be persistant.
Aiding temps in finding permanent work:
Many of our placements are strictly Perm-Direct Hires. But many others are Temp to Perm. We know this up front and tell the candidates up front the approximate length.

I found your site because I am looking at competitors sites to revamp
mine. This was purely an accident. I was highly disappointed reading
the majority of these negative reviews. I see no recent postings so I
guess few people know about your site. Too bad for the "good guys".
As owner of a boutique staffing firm, whose main goal is to help
people, I wish Temp agencies as a whole were better viewed. Companys
who under-pay temps and thus charge clients "no fee"-like Essex should
be run out of business. They truly ruin the industry for the rest of
us.
