Comments:
I went to this agency when I first started temping. I had just left a five year position at an art publishing company, and was looking to get into legal word processing. As I informed the Custom counselor over the phone, I type 80+ wpm and am very familiar with MS Word, but I did not, at the time, have any legal experience. The counselor enthusiastically recommended that I make an appointment. Contrary to Custom's representation over the phone, however, the counselor I met with, Diane McGaw, was rude and extremely unprofessional. She said that they did not place people who hadn't worked in a corporate environment, and that there was really no point in me taking any of their placement tests (!). The best I could hope for, she said, was a junior secretarial position at $10-11 an hour. The agency I went to the following day hired me immediately for a secretarial position at $16 an hour, and subsequently placed me in law firms around the city at much higher rates. I am now an efficient, experienced, and reliable legal secretary with up-to-date skills, who has received glowing reviews from even the most difficult to please clients. And Custom will never get my business.

Note that all reviews are individual contributions and do not represent the opinion of the site administrator. They have not been independently verified, so there is nothing to stop someone from posting a pack of lies. Some agencies with great reviews may be really bad, and some agencies with bad reviews may be really great. As with everything online, be careful and don't believe everything you read.
