Comments:
This agency came highly recommended however I personally didn't find
them to be anything worth writing home about. I started out by being
sent to the discovery channel to work for a woman who would tell all
the girls they could go home early then let me set there. She also
wanted to pay the other temps vacation pay and then try to get away
with not paying me. To make matters worse she had no idea what she
was doing cuz the company used Microsoft Office and she was using a
Lotus notes database which was so prehistoric in the context of it's
use. Only because she was too stupid to set it up in Access.
Basically she had four people doing the job of one.
Then I got sent to another loco place to work for another old man who didn't know didley-squat about what he was doing and wanted me to set up a database in Excel when they had access. Sound familiar database users? My counselor at Madamemoiselle was Rachel Phillips. She kept calling me for $9 an hour gigs at Vogue. I guess some people can work for that much however I've been led to believe that my work is worth more. Also they called me on a friday to start work on a Saturday at Calvin Klien as an assistant Designer for an impressive salary of $9 an hour. When I turned down this prestige position because it interfered with a prior committment, I never heard from them again. It could be an okay agency but I wouldn't ever use Rachel Philip.
