My file was easily transferred from Manpower in Janesville, Wisconsin,
(for whom I had temped +/- a year ago) to this Manpower when I moved
to NY. Lisa called my rep in Janesville for a reference, called me in
for an interview and retested me on everything (since it had been over
a year since the last testing, she said). I have interacted with Lisa
and Madrid in the Bardonia office, and both have been courteous,
helpful and professional. Lisa was obviously concerned about placing
me as soon as possible, and in a position which matched my
qualifications as closely as possible. She told me the general salary
range I could expect for the type of position for which I was looking
was $10-$14, but one of the one-day assignments she offered me was
even higher than that.
The first couple of placements I was offered both 'fell through', but I know that's not atypical in this industry. They also sent me on an assignment which was temp to perm, even though I specifically requested temp only, but again, this is common, and I don't mind - you never know, right? And this particular client is very open to either temp or perm, as long as the fit is right.
I have been very pleased to date with my dealings with this office.
