Comments:
I decided to register at this agency because they gave a huge pitch on
placement at fashion companies (which is mostly what I was looking
for). Of course, when push came to shove, all of those assigments
were filled (according to them) and there were simply no prospects.
They feed you anything to get you into their database and send you out
on pidley iddley assignments that barely pay the bills. I cut them
out of my life for this.
They called me up about a year later saying my resume was "so impressive as well as my skills" and they think they had something for me. Of course by this time I was on to bigger and better things. I went in, however, to see what they were talking about (just in case they REALLY did have something better). They asked me to fill out another application and take tests(although I was in the database) and I refused. Heh, they called me. Once they found out I was working for one of their clients through another agency, they explained, oh you'll have to quit that so we can send you somewhere else within that industry. The catch? They could not guarantee me a higher rate and were not even willing to offer more incentives than I was already getting from my current job. What? I left, and never returned their phone calls ever again. The nerve, the audacity! My advice...avoid them at all costs.
