Comments:
This agency and I had a long and often difficult relationship. They
could be extraordinarily manipulative and sly, consistently changing
my pay rate for reasons that I could not contest since I was not part
of the process (the client was paying them less than was usual, so
they had to cut my rate, etc.). I rarely felt like I was treated with
appreciation or respect. That being said, they did place me in a lot
of jobs, some lasting for as long as six months, most a few days. They
did send me on a lot of jobs that I was not qualified for, which I
only discovered on-site, to the consternation of the client. My
laundry list of complaints is lengthy, indignant and angry, but I do
not know how typical it is since I established a relationship with
only this agency. I felt powerless to improve my situation with them,
and despite my committment and lengthy stay with them, they were
unresponsive to my input or opinions.
