I tried to register with them on one occasion, faxed my resume, cover letter and several samples of my work. The counselor Rita Armstrong (remember this name) scheduled an interview with me. I arrived at the agreed upon time with my portfolio in hand and ready to do business. I had heard good things about this agency. Ms. Armstrong was still at lunch. I waited for about 15 minutes when a group of women arrived and went into there offices.

About 5 minutes later the snotty, affected receptionist informs me that Ms. Armstrong is unavailable and could I leave my portfolio. I protested to no avail. My portfolio contained copies so I was willing to leave it for review. After trying to contact Ms. Armstrong innumerable time via phone and even fax I finally gave up on Roz Goldfarb Associates.

P.S. This occurred in the beginning of 1995, a few weeks ago I get a letter from them saying they've had my portfolio for 90 days and would I come pick it up or they would throw it out.

P.P.S. I hope this was an isolated experience with one unprofessional counselor and not the operations of the Agency as a whole, and wish her nothing less than she deserves in the future.
