Comments: Everyone I've encountered at Tiger has been exceptionally friendly and helpful. I've been on the same assignment for nearly a year. The bank where I am working decided to cut my pay rate (this was communicated to me by the bank, and not Tiger, since they had not told Tiger). I decided to take the cut (it was really a bite -- down to $26/hr) and have asked Tiger to be on the lookout for something more lucrative.
I also have to see if Tiger can do something about this and get me closer to what I was making. The reason for the pay cut was that the going rate is lower this year than it was last year, and the bank was unwilling to pay me more than they were paying the other temps. It was good while it lasted . . . The going rate, according to Tiger, IS lower right now, and while I might make a dollar more at another bank (they would have sent me right over), I really do like where I'm working.
I've had no problems with Tiger, and it's handy to have their check-cashing card for the Citibank branch across the street. I just pick up my check, and then go across the street and deposit it as cash (or get the cash). I've heard that they do have an optional medical policy, deducted from your check, but I haven't looked into it, since I'm covered elsewhere.
