Comments: Counselors change so frequently. When you take an assignment you start off with someone only to run into a snag and no one at the office has a clue as to who to contact. The last assignment I had was at a high rate at an investment firm. I started out working with 2 people and two weeks later I had seven plus I relieved 2 other administrative assistants whom usually were out. This agency unlike others I am registered with has the attitude that you are alone and the client is the only true perspective - you go to work and take as much as you can. After three months on this very difficult assignment I took a much needed personal day. This agency failed to call the client to report I would be out and then raised it with me because I should have called the client too. I went into the assignment the next day only to discover that the assignment was terminated and only because I went to pick up my check. If you have really good skills this agency keeps you for exceptional client situations so you'll have to register with other agencies. The longest assignments I had came out of this agency and I made the most money from this agency but they make you feel you are alone. Other agency counselors I've had stay in contact if it is a long term assignment. They act annoyed if you call.
