I was impressed with this agency's professionalism from the minute I walked through the door. The staff was courteous and responsive, and made me feel welcome and valued.
I was introduced to two separate staffing agents, temporary and permanent. Unfortunately, they didn't "listen" to me. I was looking for a long-term temp assignment that offered flexibility. Before I knew it, I was finishing a second interview with a company for a long-term permanent assignment with zero flexibility.
I was dealing with both agents but neither were clear with me about what I was interviewing for despite my repeated questions and e-mails. It wasn't until after my last interview when one agent breathlessly asked, "Do I have your permission to accept an offer should they make it?" (I could practically hear the dollar signs in her voice - and at this point no one had even mentioned a pay rate) that I was finally able to get her to slow down and tell me exactly what they were pushing me into. And that's exactly what they were doing. They were pushing me into what they had available. They didn't even consider why I was there. Instead of saying they didn't have what I was looking for, they were foisting me into something I wasn't the least bit interested in. They wasted a lot of people's time.
Needless to say they haven't contacted me since I bailed out of their misleading offer.
