Comments:
This agency was great the first couple of months I worked for them. The biggest complaint I have is that they would tell me I should be contacting my particular advisor in the firm. When I spoke with this person, they would tell me I should be calling so & so for temp work instead. I got bounced around A LOT.
Although, I called frequently, I haven't had any assignments from them in the past year (I would love some work!). I turned down one thing stuffing envelopes, but I could hear the person on the other end of the line saying, "nah, you are too qualified for this, you wouldn't want that, etc...we'll call you when something else becomes available." I don't get it! It's not like I am interviewing for a great job. I just wanted some work while I searched for a new job.
What is the temps secret to really getting temporary work to pay the rent, eat real food, etc. while searching for a new job?
