The recruiter I met with (Alana?) was very professional and suggested that I check in regularly. She seemed to be truly interested in my job preferences and was always friendly on the phone. Upon checking in, I was placed on a Administrative Assistant position for approx. 3 months. I was on assigment with other temps from other agencies and then realized how UNPROFESSIONAL Asset Staffing really is! They offer no benefits, not even free check cashing at their bank!Temps from other agencies were offered direct deposit as well as benefits! In addition, upon learning that temps from other agencies were getting paid more I requested a raise. I spoke to one of the managers, Jim. He was not only rude and abrupt on the phone, but he denied me a raise and told me to leave the assignemnt if I didn't like it! All and all Asset Staffing seems to be a real "run of the mill" rinkey dink staffing service. If you are looking for a real professional agency where you are treated like a real person, don't use this one!
