Comments:
When I first signed up with them two years ago, they were still called Interim and they were a great agency. They were personable and very helpful. Since last year they merged and became Spherion. They've hired placement people who have no background whatsoever in personnel and bad people skills. They rarely call you back--even if on assignment--The woman I dealt with was an ex-makeup artist (that's what SHE said) and had horrible interpersonal skills. I was pulled off an assignment for something I had not done. Was taken into counseling, and was repeatedly told by this woman that I did do it. She never believed me and was not interested in what I had to say. I then called th manager Karen Bagne (whom I had worked with for two years as a temp) one--because she knew my work and two--because she knew what type of a person I was. Imagine my surprise when she was not interested in the fact that I was accused of something that I had not done and didn't really care about me one way or another. Talk about instilling loyalty!
They used to have many major clients, now they're being dropped by many of them---gee I wonder why.
They pay poorly, and are dishonest
