Comments:
Well, I got my first assignment two days after signing up. It lasted a month. Then a few weeks later I got another 1 month assignment. Then nothing for three months. In that time, each agent I was assigned to left and no one told me. I only found out after calling and being transferred to someone else by the receptionist (the receptionists are never friendly and don't say things like "Oh, he left. Here is who replaced him." They just answer the phone, you ask for someone and they transfer you to whoever they want). Then I was offered a perm job after doing a temp to perm. I have yet to hear from Career Blazers. They are supposed to do the negotiating, right? Clients and Temps never interact on that level, generally. If we did, what would we need temp agencies for? I worked internally at an agency in the past and the company I worked for would get extremely angry if they found temps negotiating with clients.
Basically, you can get work through Career Blazers, but don't expect follow-up from anyone. They seem to have a high level of turnover there as well.
