Lab Support is great work for those in fields of science and you can break into other fields easier than looking on your own. Lab Support has branches everywhere so if you move you can regester w/ them in another state. I work mainly w/ the White Plains office and the contact person there is Christine Charter, who is extremely personable and willing to work for you to find a job that suites your needs. That is how I got into perfumery w/ a BA in Biology and worked as a Perfumer's Assistant/Lab technician. Pay is higher than admin work agencies. The only drag is that more work is available in Long Island, NJ, out-skirts of Queens or upstate NY. Not too much work in Manhattan (mostly fine fragrance).
