Comments:
The software tests at Temporary Alternatives are very tricky and
difficult. I got about a 70% and thought I wouldn't make a good
impession. Ivan Gonzales told me that was a great mark. I could only
wonder why they'd give such advanced graphics and wordprocessing
questions as part of a standard test. perhaps, I thought, they paid
well and had alot of challenging work.
Well, nothing of that nature happened. I called and called each week
only to be told the usual yada yada so common in 2002 and 2003 about
the slow economy. What really sucks here is that unless you've worked
for them during the year you registered in they wipe your records out
of the database at the end of the year. In early 2003 I was told I'd
have to register again and take those tests all over.
What is so lame here is that there is no voice mail or email through
which to get in touch with the staff.
This gets a D- in my rating system.
