Comments:
The testing conditions were really awful. The room was like a small,
windowless and airless closet right off the reception area. That
aside, the staff is very upbeat and courteous so I toughed it out.
Scored in the 90 percentile and thought I was in good at
last.
Vanessa Acorda takes care of the list for a temps availability and
Kacey Knauer intereviewed me. Both were very laid back and yet
professional and overall I had a good impression of the
agency.
Vanessa always confirms receipts of email concerning one's status and
availability. Kacey has been a good listener on the
phone.
However, after several months of periodic calling in sessions
absolutely nothing has happened. I would appreciate them being more
honest with me and just saying they either don't have jobs for my
background/educational/skills level or that they are just plain
slow.
I often wonder what has happened to the database function at temp
agencies. Whoever thought of this idea of having temps call in should
one day have to go through this process themselves. It is
discouraging and eventually leads one to have a low opinion of the
temping industry itself.
I just let go of this agency. I plan to look for work on my
own.(2003)
