Comments:
Two points abt Delta: 1) I registered with Delta one year ago, about the time, it seems, they were forming some kind of partnership with Supporting Cast (at least it seems that way, since I once went on a one-day job after getting a call from a Delta placement coordinator, then --while I was one that job-- the supervisor on said job informed me that "[my] agency, Supporting Cast" called, and then that supervisor handed me a timesheet from SC .(I've never registered with Supporting Cast). They pimped me out to another agency without informing me.
2) Anyway, in my year at Delta, i've seen my wage go down from an already bad hourly rate compared to other agencies, for no reason. The hourly rate for Delta has varied for me, from between $2 less for a typical day shift rate, to $4 less, hourly, than what temps from another agency on the same job were making! I've been afraid to raise the issue because it's been hard to get work lately, but this is a bad deal.
