Comments:
Fairly easy Word and Excel test and a quick interview with someone who I was told would be my job counselor and I never heard from this person again. Got contacted by another counselor right away and got a good position (free lunch) that lasted about 3 1/2 months.
After that job ended, I was contacted several times by several different counselors about jobs in a field that I had specifically told them I was not interested in working in as it involved my former career and I wanted nothing to do with that. Since then, I haven't heard from them in two months.
While initially very professional and helpful, I quickly realized that they didn't keep a good database of what their temps could do. I was either offered jobs I wasn't qualified for, or jobs that I had told them in the initial interview I did not want. Calls or e-mails were eventually met with responses such as "We'll be in touch."
This is a decent agency, but they make you do most of the footwork. It seems if you want to work regularly with them, you have to call them a few times a day and then do the follow up with the potential employer yourself. They'll give you a good job when you first sign up, and then they get lazy.
