Comments:
Atrium Staffing does not resemble the negative stories I have heard about temp agencies. They are professional, friendly, and efficient. They have found work for me almost immediately every time I contacted them. In fact, they often contact me with offers of new asignments.
My assignments have mostly been at high-profile firms in Midtown. All have been pleasant to work for. Probably because they demand professionalism of their associates. You must be punctual, appropriately dressed, proactive, etc. It's worth it -- I almost feel proud representing this agency. That's coming from someone with a master's degree.
They offer benefits like medical, dental, 2-weeks vacation after a certain number of hours is reached. (I haven't been with the agency long enough to know how well the benefits work.) They also offer bonuses for referrals, $100 for new associates and $500 for new clients. If you do decide to try Atrium, please use my name as a referal! I could use the cash -- temping has it's good points but a high salary isn't one of them. :)
