Comments:
This agency never offered me a position above the minimum that I
stated ($10 per hour). Actually, I was asked to go below my minimum.
As a recent college graduate with bills to pay, I went with it until
something better came along. I can definitely say that this agency
always has work. The question is how low are you willing to go in
terms of hourly wage. Also, the positions are a little demeaning if
you have a degree and skills (I have a BA and strong MS Word and
Excel, familiarity with Powerpoint and Access and typing over 50 wpm).
A lot of the positions are file clerk, data entry, and general clerk
positions. From my own experience, the agency only cares about the
client. They do not handle complaints well. My counselor did not
return messages about my complaints. She only listened when I
actually quit the position and refused to go back. Overall, if you
are looking to make a quick buck until something else comes along,
definitely check this agency out.
