Most of these recent comments are quite surprising to me. Taylor Hodson is a very professional agency dealing with sophisticated upper tier financial banking firms, among others. If you are have a complaint because you weren't being called, or because your were offered your first job, which wasn't what you wanted and you turned it down, and then you got nothing else, you already have the answer to you questions if front of you: you most likely simply didn't have the skills or demeanor for the majority of this firms clients. Yes, they are fast paced - that's what New York is like. Clients often call the same day. If you don't help the recruiters fill jobs, why would they want to help you when you need time off, or when you need a job? Secondly, Taylor Hodson has pays regularly, and always on time. If problems happen with the paychecks, it's probably because they employee hasn't filed the timesheet correctly - if they don't know what you've worked, and by the right time, they can't pay you.

No, I don't "work for the company". I'm a Taylor Hodson temp, and an actor, like so many of us. I have skills, Taylor Hodson wants to use them. Yes, they'd like to move me into a permanent position, but I can't do that. Some days, they need someone to help them out of a bind... I do that. Some days, I'm the guy that might put them into a bind. They forgive me. It's an "You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" sort of relationship, as much of this (and all) business really is. But don't think for a minute that I deserved that before they know me and trusted me, or that you will when you sign up. I took everything offered me for the first few months. I was building trust, and building a relationship. That's as important for us as temps - to be honest and trustworthy and good to work with - as it is for the agencies that employ us. So - master that - and you will find Taylor Hodson one of the better agencies in New York. They're honest, they're good to work for, they're efficient, and they're loyal. These things don't happen overnight, however. THEY need to make sure that YOU are all this as well.
