Comments:
STAY AWAY from these people because they are rude, unprofessional, snotty, and condescending to their staff members. Will call you an hour before they want you to go on assignment, then get mad when you can't make it or have another assingment elsewhere (if you're working with multiple agencies to get paid in order to survive, of course) Treat you like garbage, and then expect you to jump and beg to go work as a lame receptionist at MTV, where all the people there are just as rude. I should have known from the 3rd grade level 'reading and spelling' test they handed to me. Not to mention their secretive 'testing room' where people are lined up taking excel and word tests, where there is a 'mediator' person who is there to watch what youre doing. After all of this, the results are scoffed at by this mediator, who thinks you could do better, then you're sent back to the main office where the mysterious "Grading" system comes into play, and people talk about you right in front of your face in a tone of faux superiority.
The female receptionists at MTV are incompetent, and half of them can't do their jobs (answer phones, book conference rooms) and they feel really threatened when new people come on board, like youre trying to steal their job or something. They are in their own little clique, and you will never fit in because 'oh, youre just a temp.' I was WAY more qualified than any of those people and had better people skills, yet they talked dowm to me like I was retarded. Couldn't wait to get the hell out of there! For a measly $11 an hour, its not worth it.
