Comments:
My experience with Tiger has been far and between other jobs other temp agencies provided me. It's hard to now recall details of my registration process except that the office manager was nice, straightforward and informative. However, Tiger waited too long to call me for jobs, and what kindled that was their request that I call weekly to update my availability. Checking in became tiresome and even cumbersome - from my perspective, unless you have placed me *and* unless I've specifically told you I'm unavailable, then consider me free until further notice.
But the latter is more a pet peeve than anything else. What really got me was a recent interview to which I was unfortunately running late. I accepted full responsibility, and honestly must have reset my clocks incorrectly returning from holiday (and different time zone) travels. But the client still chose to walk me through an entire interview and gave clear impression that the 8-min tardiness was forgiven. When I followed up with Tiger afterwards they said they would confer with the client and get back to me about the 2nd interview. Not 10 minutes later did Tiger call again to say the client cancelled and did not wish to further pursue due to my tardiness and the "lame" excuse for it (which there really was none).
I suppose this instance is more centered on the client but I am aware that it has subsequently influenced Tiger to consider me unavailable for a while. And that's unfortunate. I think Tiger can provide lucrative-paying opportunities but don’t appreciate the diva-like attitudes I've witnessed that also coincide with other postings about them on this site. At the end of the day, we're all the same though and that's important to remember as well
