Never in all my years as a professional have I come across an angencies such as Essex. The staff memebers are the most unprofessional, unqualified recruiters I have even seen in an agency (or working in any office for that matter). Being interviewed by serveral different people without knowing who they are and how they are going to help you in the process.

First you meet one young lady who reviews your paperwork (not sure what her title is or who she is). She tells you then to go sit in the front for another half an hour to be tested. The 12 minute logic test is ridicules. Then on to the computer test which I did excellent in as usual. Then you are to sit in the front to speak to a "counslor". After an hour wait someone rudely yells my name down the hall and brings me to a room to interview. This is when they explain the scam of applying to their agencies. They tell you the salary you will be making (which I don't understand shouldn't it vary from company). And how you will be on their payroll for 65 days and making roughly $8 an hour. Can you handle that the rude "counsleor" askes me? Surprisingly I say yes and fill out the form to be told to sit in the front again to wait for a recruiter to speak to me. I of course felt like saying "and I wasted my time speaking to you and all these other people because?" Who exactly are these other people?

Anyway, after an hour wait someone yelled me name again from down the hall. The same rude "counsleor" and said she will bring me in to speak to the recruiters and tell me where to stand. Ummm OK which I am informed to stand in the middle of room. She then passes out forms to the recruiter and loudly yells "Can I have your attention please, this is " " and her skills are " " and her experience is " " does anyone have any questions.

Not knowing what the heck is going on the recruiters asked me a few questions. One saying she will talk to me after while facing her computer. Escorting me out the "counslor" said to wait in the front a recruiter will like to speak to me. NO THANKS what kind of work ethics is that? Needless to say I ran out the door and was upset regarding how I was treated, how I was giving the run around all day, and how I wasted 3 hours at the agency. There are many agencies that will offer you positions based on your skills, experience, education. DO NOT settle for this agencies. I am a college graduate and to be offered a salary that I can get working in some retail store is crazy.
