My resume I'm looking for a small department or startup company that needs a creative, intelligent problem-solver who's willing to work sixteen hours a day. Do you work at that company? Do you know anyone who does? If so, check out the following for more information about me and my work. I wrote those words almost six years ago, and since then I've been a part of the new media industry. I've worked at an interactive agency (THINK New Ideas), consulted for a small graphic design studio and helped them learn about creating web content and managing interactive projects, and now find myself at MSNBC.com as a Web Software Development Engineer. Every job I've ever had has made me back my tough talk with action, and plenty of it. I've worked in fantastic creative environments, surrounded by people who are among the best in the industry at what they do. Below are a list of sites that I have worked on -- after each, I have briefly outlined the tasks for which I was responsible. MSNBC Gateway 2000 Rockport Gillette Millstone Coffee (Signature Blend) Avon Coral Energy Major League Baseball Players Association Anheuser-Busch Theme Parks Chrysler Logitech Oracle Get Real Comics Rolls-Royce Motor Cars IBM AS/400 The following sites are still in the graveyard, but worth mentioning. At the time, I was involved with a plan to put higher-education textbooks on line. While my role was more that of a support line for educators, I was required to be up-to-date on the perl and TCL development environment, and was involved with a project that (through its emphasis on education outside the classroom and promise of a learning resource that would stay as up to date as the web allows) truly took advantage of the possibilit ies of the web as a useful tool.
