The cabins are in a valley, but some of the more rugged trails lead into the mountains. By a fluke of the weather, Frost Valley generally gets more snow than the surrounding area.
The newer cabins are excellent, but the old cabins need work. All have hot showers and flush toilets. Meals are provided in the dining hall.
Reservations are required. Some of the larger cabins can hold up to 40 people, and there are also smaller cabins and individual rooms.
