Panix, New York's First
Internet Service Provider

Thank You!

Your Domain Registration Form has been logged for processing, we will notify you via email when we send the form to the InterNIC.

Your Next Steps

Here are the rest of the steps to complete your On-Demand Dedicated ISDN setup. In all your correspondance with us, please reference your domain name for our records.
  1. Send Payment to Panix when you receive your invoice. We do our billing via email. Normally invoices are sent to the maintenance account. If you would like the invoices to go to a different or additional address, please let us know. We do not send postal invoices unless specifically requested.

Please send your check or money order to:

    Panix Public Access Networks Corp
    Attn: Corporate Web Dept.
    15 West 18th Street, 5th Floor
    New York, NY 10011
Please put your domain name or your Customer Number on the check.

  2. Obtain Your ISDN hardware. You will need an ISDN router, or a computer capable of doing routing equipped with an ISDN modem. Stay away from the 3Com OfficeConnect LAN Modem -- although it has an attractively low price, the TollMizer feature (also known as data-over-voice) just plain does not work, and the device will wind up costing you a bundle in connect-time fees.

If you would like to purchase hardware from Panix please see our price list. If you have questions about hardware please send mail to corp-ip@panix.com for more information.

  3. Receive your network assignment. If you have requested a network of IP addresses to use with your On-Demand ISDN connectionk, we will assign them for you. If you wish to check on the status of this information please send mail to corp-ip@panix.com.

  4. Choose an approproate ISDN number from our list of access numbers, and configure your router to dial into it.
