• Born April 5, 1963 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
• Moved to Chicago area in 1969 (one block from Evanston)
• Moved to Philadelphia area in 1976
• Penn State, BS in CS, 1981-1986
• Manassas, VA co-op experience wih IBM, May - December, 1984
• Moved to Phoenix area in 1986
• Moved to Santa Cruz, CA area in 1988
• Moved to Austin, TX in the summer of 1999
• Moved to Redondo Beach, California in 2002
• Moved to Austin, TX in July, 2003
