User testing

Prototype was offered to two groups of experienced software developers along with:
a sample file to browse
a short description of the interface
a questionnaire

Users asked to experiment with the prototype, then answer six open-ended questions:
How comprehensible did you find the overall display?
How easy was it to understand the history view in the middle pane?
Do you think this tool or a similar one would be useful to you?
What would you like to have added to the information presented?
What would you like to have removed?
Do you have any other suggestions for improvements?
