Here are some photos from the last few weeks. The bird in the pipe was outside the place where I get my hair cut, I saw it while I was waiting. The doves were having a private moment when I when I walked by. They didn't seem to mind, but I felt like an interloper. One afternoon there was a cardinal in a tree by my driveway, and he sat there long enough for me to get a few good shots. I've been trying to get a cardinal for weeks but they refuse to sit still. I think that whole "state bird" thing has gone right to their heads. The geese in the last picture ... they took off, coming right towards me, and I didn't have the camera ready. I fished it out of my pocket, pointed, and shot without looking. I'd just as soon be lucky as good.
