Best Day Ever

Yesterday (Apr. 22) was a great day to be outdoors. The weather was cool and clear and the sky was incredibly blue. I really did not want to come back inside. Apparently, the birds did because I did not see very many. The only bird who sat still long enough for a photo was this goldfinch. It was only after I got home that I realized I had photographed, ahem, the south end of a northbound bird. The second photo is below the dam, looking up at the lower pond. There are two small ponds below the dam, that one is the "upper lower" pond. I took the photo from the bank of the "lower lower" pond. Later Grace and I took a walk along the river and that's where the last picture came from.
