It turns out that the Alaska indictment that I mentioned last night was for State Senator John Cowdery, not Ted Stevens.

I don’t expect Stevens to be indicted until after the election, if at all.

In the 1960s I lived in Alaska, and my dad was on Governor Egan’s cabinet, so I follow Alaska politics, which seem to be remarkably corrupt.
