It appears that one Dr. Christian Koch claims to have invented a thermal reactor that turns biomass directly into diesel.

He says that it can use, old tires, weeds, and animal cadavers, and that, “the cadaver of a fully grown cat can produce 2.5 litres of fuel”.

We are not amused.
